New Procedures for Photo Taking ...

Dear Guys & Gals,

Please take note; THE HERITAGE STATION HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR, is implementing new procedures for PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS at The Hotel. We are now doing away with the old application forms and will be introducing our new online booking forms effective 15 NOVEMBER 2009. We will honour all applications that were made directly with us previously and will allow photography on our old terms and conditions.

Would appreciate if you could also take note of the following;

• We will now allot 2 slots per day (4 hours each) per Photo Shooting, Per Couple/Model.
• Photo shooting time period will start from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm only.
• You will have to sign our standard Terms and Conditions when you arrive at The Hotel.
• The Heritage Station Hotel, Kuala Lumpur will levy a token sum of RM50.00 Nett per Photo Shooting session which will include the use of a changing room, and to partake in our Gallery (The Hotel will print and buy frames for this).

NEW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(revised 06 November 2009)

• THE HOTEL will grant permission to use the premise of THE HOTEL on the following conditions for photography; 

1. That the photo shooting is for personal use/ non commercial basis only. Commercial photo shoots require the written approval of THE HOTEL.
2. That THE PARTY will not interfere with the daily operations of THE HOTEL.
3. That THE PARTY will not interfere nor inconvenience the guests of THE HOTEL.
4. That THE PARTY will abide by any reasonable requests of THE HOTEL.
5. That THE PARTY will not damage any part of the building and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of THE HOTEL.
6. THE HOTEL grants this permission to THE PARTY for a token sum of RM50.00 Nett inclusive of a changing room and to partake in one (01) photo printed by THE HOTEL to be put in THE HOTEL’s gallery/wall. THE PARTY’s Name & Photographer will be credited provided THE PARTY provides to THE HOTEL, the necessary information when submitting photos.

• THE HOTEL does not allow any VIDEO RECORDING of any kind. Only photo shoots are allowed.
• THE PARTY agrees to provide THE HOTEL, a copy of the photos, for THE HOTEL’s distribution/use on its electronic website(s) for non commercial purposes only. THE PARTY grants this right to THE HOTEL without costs.
• Photos that are provided to THE HOTEL will come directly from THE PARTY’s PHOTOGRAPHER.
• THE HOTEL will provide credits back to THE PARTY. As THE HOTEL also respects privacy of the individual(s), any requests from THE PARTY to keep their information private will be respected by THE HOTEL.
• THE HOTEL will receive from THE PARTY the above mentioned copies of the photos within a time frame of 1 month’s time from the date of the photo shooting. THE PHOTOGRAPHER will select a minimum of 5 photos for THE HOTEL (more would be appreciated for writing purposes) in LOW‐RES FORMAT ‐BELOW 200KB, JPEG file format. This is to prevent theft of photos online. THE HOTEL appreciates all promptness in delivery.
• Any issues and/or discrepancies arising from the photo shoot or the use of its photos will be settled amicably through mutual discussion by all parties.
• THE HOTEL does not and will not claim or own the copyright or the IP of the photos taken.
• THE HOTEL reserves the right to PROHIBIT PHOTOGRAPHERS who do not comply to our TERMS & CONDITIONS.
• THE PARTY indemnifies THE HOTEL, its servants, agents and/or guests against any damages, losses, breakages, whatsoever caused to the property, equipment, fixtures and fittings. THE PARTY further indemnifies THE HOTEL, its servants, agents and/or guests against any suits filed by any Third Party arising from any act of neglect or default of THE PARTY, it’s agents, employees, licenses or customer in holding of the said photo shoot at THE HOTEL.
• THE HOTEL reserves the right to change the above terms and conditions without any prior notice. THE PARTY partakes in this photo shoot at THE HOTEL’s premises, will be entirely at THE PARTY’s own risk.
